TIDE CLOCKS

A tide clock works a lot like a regular clock,  but with high tide marked at the 12 o'clock position and low tide marked at the 6 o'clock position. The biggest difference however, is that a tide clock makes a full rotation in approximately 12 hours and 25 minutes, as opposed to a time clock's 12 hours. This is the average length of time that passes between one high tide and the next, with a low tide in the middle. Tide clocks may experience variations to real world tides over the course of a lunar month, but they are good indicator of the tide at any given time.

Each of my Original Art Tide Clocks are unique, hand painted, oil on wooden board, hand signed on the reverse. They require a AA battery (supplied).
